Overview

The Wittemann Company LLC -- Industrial Division designs and manufactures Catalytic Oxidation Systems for purification of CO₂ streams containing certain combustible and non-combustible impurities not easily removed in other known processes.

A simple statement concerning a process employed for many years in the purification of CO₂ for food-grade, beverage quality CO₂. However, this does not begin to reflect on the complexities involved in the design and specification of a Catalytic Oxidation System. Important considerations relative to first-in cost compared to operational costs and side reactions that can result from the process -- all must be considered in the design of a Direct Oxidation System.
