ASCO vertical CO2 tanks include a high quality perlite vacuum insulation. The inner tank as well as all interconnecting pipe work is made of stainless steel and the outer vessel has a durable protective coating to guard against corrosion. The maximum working pressure is 22 bar. ASCO’s vacuum insulated storage tanks are designed for easy handling and installation on site.

ASCO liquid carbon dioxide storage tanks are compactly arranged on a base-frame which allows installation on site within minutes. The vessels are primed and insulated with 100 mm polyurethane foam and covered with a 1.6 mm prepainted white aluminium jacket with aluminium heads.

The tank content is shown by differential pressure indicator and pressure gauge with a diameter of 152 mm. The completed tank is tested with liquid carbon dioxide in the tank and all controls are set for proper automatic operation.

ASCO supplies different sizes of transportable (demountable) CO2 tanks which can be mounted on any suitable truck or drawbar trailer of the rigid flat type.

ASCO transportable CO2 tanks are built to DOT MC331 and ASME specifications. They are complete with 4" polyurethane insulation covered with a 0.063 prepainted white aluminium jacket with aluminium heads, float gauge, pressure indicator, stainless steel ball valves, primary and secondary safety relief protection, control cabinet with lockable access door, two hose tubes.
