Silica Gels
Silica gels, composed of solid micro-porous silica beads, are typically used as a desiccant. The numerous, interlocking pores on the beads work by creating a lower vapor pressure than the surrounding air, causing the water molecules in the surrounding air adhere to the silica beads.
